Congratulations!     You have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  You have just made the very best decision of your life.

In the Holy Bible, Jesus tells us in the Book of John that we are his friend.  Now this word friend has a much significant meaning than we place on it in today’s culture.

The word friend and friendship involve three components: association, loyalty, and affection.  The terms used most include philos   [fivlo"], "friend”,                                                            There are also three levels of meaning:

1.     friendship as association only;

2.      friendship as association plus loyalty; and

3.     friendship as association plus loyalty plus affection.

Jesus takes his statement to this third level with friendship as association plus loyalty plus affection.  The English word that closely describes this level is philanthropy from the Greek word philanthropia.  This term describes someone that has the resources or wealth that one may need and is willing to freely give to another of a lesser state.

When Jesus tells his disciples, "You are my friends if you do what I command", the components of association, loyalty, and affection all appear.      John 15:14-16 (KJV)

 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

 15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

No decision you could make is more important or wonderful.  When you decide to follow Jesus, you not only have an assured home in the Kingdom of God, but you receive a brand new life and a vibrant purpose for living.  Of course, you may be wondering what all that actually means.Well!  Let us start the journey with the Holy Bible as our guide.  As stated in the Book of John first chapter verse 1 through 5 John 1:1-5 KJV

 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

 2The same was in the beginning with God.

 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (KJV)

The Holy Bible should be your main resources for this new journey.  The Word of God was given to man by God to reprove, rebuke, exhort and guide man through his life here on earth.                          (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV)

That's why it is so important that you read your Bible daily and seek understanding from the Holy Spirit and Spirit filled Christians.  My Father’s House Ministry has composed these resources just for you., which are located in Our Life Style Section call All Things Have Become New                          (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV)

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

The key word in this scripture is reconciliation.  What does that mean as a believer in Jesus Christ?  The word to reconcile means to be in proper order or balanced with something that is correct or is the standard.  Therefore, God has brought us back into our proper position with Him byway of the finish work of Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross.  So now, we have the duty to bring others to this understanding because we have been given the ministry or service of lifting others up to their proper position in the Kingdom of God.

So, my friend, start enjoying your new relationship with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ right now. Your new life has begun !!!!!
