We must all deliberately turn away from sin, and begin to follow God and do what He tells us to do.  Why is this so important to the Believer?  _________________

Understanding: To “confess” means that we must pray to God, and admit that we have sinned, and ask Him to forgive us for our sins.  The Holy Bible is clear that God will forgive us for our sins (remove and forget them) if we ask Him.

c.      A love for righteousness and morality. Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 1:22

d.     A new peace and joy in living a life centered on God. John 14:27; Romans 15:13
